Dovrien™ WavePort Bluetooth Audio Transmitter & Receiver
Dovrien™ WavePort is a compact Bluetooth audio adapter designed for travelers, TV viewers, music listeners, and anyone who wants to connect traditional wired audio equipment with modern wireless headphones, earbuds, speakers, or car audio systems. A physical TX/RX switch changes the direction of the audio connection: Transmit Mode sends sound from a wired audio source to compatible Bluetooth listening devices, while Receive Mode brings wireless audio from a phone or tablet into equipment with an auxiliary audio input. The result is a dedicated bridge between older audio hardware and newer wireless listening setups without replacing equipment that still works well.
🎧 Bluetooth Transmit Mode
Connect WavePort to the headphone or audio-output jack of a compatible television, airplane entertainment system, computer, music player, or other source, then pair wireless headphones or earbuds. The adapter handles the wireless connection while the original source continues to provide the audio.
🔊 Bluetooth Receive Mode
Slide the hardware selector to RX and connect WavePort to a compatible speaker, stereo, or vehicle auxiliary input. Music, podcasts, and other audio from a paired phone or tablet can then play through equipment that does not have built-in Bluetooth connectivity.
🔀 Dedicated TX/RX Mode Switch
A recessed physical switch clearly separates transmitting and receiving functions. Users can identify the selected operating direction before pairing, avoiding the ambiguity of multifunction controls that change behavior through long presses or hidden menu combinations.
👥 Shared Listening Support
Transmit Mode is designed to support pairing with two compatible listening devices for situations where two people want to hear the same audio source. This can be useful when watching an in-flight movie together or sharing television audio without relying on an external speaker.
🎛️ Direct Pairing Controls
A prominent multifunction button handles pairing and reconnection, while separate tactile controls provide access to basic audio functions when the operating mode supports them. Small status indicators communicate pairing and connection states without adding a display to a device that is normally used out of sight.
🔌 Detachable Audio Connection
Rather than permanently attaching a short 3.5 mm cable to the enclosure, WavePort uses a replaceable audio lead. This lets the adapter sit naturally beside different source devices and makes the cable easier to replace or change when a different connector arrangement is required.
🔋 Rechargeable Portable Design
An internal rechargeable power system allows the adapter to operate without drawing power from the audio jack itself. USB-C charging keeps the power connection separate from the audio path and fits naturally alongside other commonly carried charging cables.
WavePort uses a slim pebble-shaped enclosure with a flattened underside so it can rest beside a television, on an airplane tray, or inside a vehicle console without rolling. The TX/RX selector sits on one edge, while pairing controls occupy the upper surface for easy access. A fine-textured polymer shell improves grip, and the audio and charging ports are placed on opposite ends to keep connected cables from crowding each other.
On a flight, a traveler can connect WavePort to the seat entertainment system and listen through familiar wireless headphones. At home, the same device can operate in Receive Mode to bring phone audio to an older powered speaker or stereo through its auxiliary input.
Dovrien™ WavePort is designed for users who want a straightforward way to connect wired and wireless audio equipment across travel, home entertainment, and everyday listening situations.
